Larry Dietrich I bought this digital clock for my granddaughter, the numbers change colour and yes as you can either have battries or use the usb cable as provided.
I had a spare usb plug, this clock is very easy to put in the daye and time.
Downside as all.clocks loke this, when the power goes or your mean sibling switches ot off, you have to re-programme the clock. (ugh kids)
